1. Well firstly, welcome to HMDG, the first thing Micheal will do is make sure the team is notified and if you are completely new, your Direct Debit will be set up.

2. Then we will send you an email to organise your Onboarding Call with Michael to talk through the design.

3. We will then assign your website build to an account manager. Normally this is three months. However, it could be longer if we aren't supplied feedback or content in a timely manner.

4. After your onboarding call, Michael will supply the project manager with all the notes from that call. At that point the project manager will complete our internal forms to send across to our developers to start work on the new website.

5. This initial information will give the developers everything they need to start building the initial homepage

6. The developer will get to work ASAP. This stage can take up to 4 weeks. At this stage, if a

new logo is required then this will be designed too.

7.The initial homepage design is sent to the project manager to be checked. The project manager sends any changes back to the developer, if they feel it is not inline with the original spec.

8. Once the homepage is ready, the project manager sends it across to you for approval. At this stage, some of the text and images may just be placeholder images and can easily be updated, we are just looking for their thoughts on the general look and feel of the site.

9. If changes are need they are sent back to the developer and then back to you until you are happy for us to continue.

10. We then move on to build the secondary pages. Often we take content from the old sites, although in some instance you may have request for new content to be sent through. We can update the site with this new content once we have received it from you.

11. Once the secondary pages are built, the project manager checks through the site to ensure everything looks good, works properly and is linked up. There may be extra info needed from you and the site may need sending back to the developers until it is just perfect and exact what you are looking for!

12. If any changes need to be done at this stage the Project Manager will send the site back to you for approval

13.  Any final changes are made if they need to be at this point.

14. By this time, we should have received your login to you domain so that we can push the new site live. You will have either provided them to michael on your Onboarding call, or maybe to Aimee. If for some reason you have had difficulty getting them. When will request them again now. We can not set your new site live without these!

15. Your Project Manager will email you letting them know the go live process. This is a vital part of the process, as it lets you know what to expect and how to access your new site and that you will no longer be able to access your old site.

16. It may take up to 48 hours for your site to go live, during this time it may still be propagating. So there may be small glitches and we recommend not sending hundreds of people there during this period just in case. In reality, you’re unlikely to notice any issues during this period, we just like to play it safe! Other things to note are once the site goes live, we will not have any access at all to the old site or any content that was on it.

17. One last thing to note is that if you have any issues with your emails once the site goes live

then let us know, we may need to re-verify the emails against your domain. You can let us know by emailing supprt@hmdg.freshdesk.com or by using our chat service on the website.

18. The new site is set live.

19. If you have any services with us such as PPC, SEO or Facebook, your Project Manager will let the team know the site is going live and as soon as this can (within 24 hours) they will start to update tracking, SEO and your ads if there have been any domain changes.
