At HMDG we always want you to know how your clinics PPC Campaign(s) are doing. So each month you will receive a report from our reporting system. 


We currently use Google Data Studio (as of October 2022 they change the name to Looker Studio). Your report will be sent from HMDG PPC (via Looker Studio) and the email address will be data-studio-noreply@google.com


When will I receive my 1st report?

If you receive an email from us after the 16th of the month to say your campaign has gone live, you will receive your first report the month after next. For example, if your Campaign goes live on the 18th October, you will not receive a link to your report until the 3/4th December. 


The reason for this, is because we need a couple of week to give the campaign time to learn.


However, if your Clinic campaign goes live on the 10th October, you will receive the first email on the 1st November.


Why do you send on the 3/4th of the Month?

We send on the 3/4th of the month because we rely on the Google Ads API to populate the report. Since we rely on this to populate our reports, we know that the Google API has up to a 48 hour delay on reporting data. 


So in order for you to have the most accurate up to date report emailed to you, we delay the sending by a few days.


I want to see my data all the time!

We appreciate some clinic like to know what is happening in regards to their PPC performance a lot. Which is one of the reasons we use Data Studio. Although there can be up to a 48 hour delay in data being passed through to the report. The Data Studio reports are also know as live report. Which means, when you receive your first link, if you bookmark that link, you can view the report at any time! Just remember there might be a delay.


You can also adjust the timeframe to any timeframe you like, by using the date range in the top right hand corner of the report.


So why email every month?

Right, it's a live report, so why would we send you an email every month with the same link? Because we know you are busy. You might loose the bookmark, you might forget to bookmark it. You are all busy people, so we still want to make sure you get that email 


I didn't get my report?

Our reports are automated, and while we would love to make sure they are sent out every month there might be something that happens out with out control as we are using a third party platform. If you have noticed your report hasn't arrived there are a few things you can do:

  1. Check to see if you bookmarked the link when you received your first report
  2. Check to see when your campaign went live. If its your first month, you might not be due a report until the following month if went live after the middle of the month
  3. Check your Spam / Junk mail. Even though it's from Google it can sometimes end up there. 
  4. If your email address is a Google / Hotmail / Yahoo etc, make sure it hasn't landed in another inbox that isn't your main one. For example Updates / Promotions / Social / Forums etc.
  5. Check you are in the email account you gave us during your Onboarding Call, as that is where we will send the report.
